Thursday
Thursday, while not an official BiCon day, will be our first day at the UEL site.
We'll be there from 6pm, welcoming people who arrive early and giving them the keys to their accomodation as well as their registration packs. Many people arrive on the Thursday at BiCons, not only to ensure they are ready to go first thing Friday morning but also to mingle and chat at the bar.
The conference desk will be open from 6.00pm until 9.00pm.
And in the evening we'll be making the most of our big purple bar to get to know everyone and help make you feel welcome.

In the evening we'll be throwing our highlight event, The Grand BiCon Ball. This year there's a 'Faerie Tale' theme so expect sparkles, pixie dust, pointy ears and divine costuming. Many people will be dressing up for the night (although that's not mandatory!) There'll be a mix of music, from classic disco, through goth-rock and on into the weird beyond of faerie land. The bar will be open until late, though probably with a short break for our staff to put up decorations.
The Ball is included in the BiCon registration at no extra charge.
